  I. HBV-infected patients who need treatment: 1. compensated cirrhosis, such patients in antiviral therapy is not required to consider the level of ALT is. 2. HBsAg-positive need in chemotherapy or long-term immunotherapy antiviral therapy. 3. patients with active liver disease and high HBVDNA, need antiviral therapy.  Second, HBV-infected patients who can withhold treatment: 1, HBeAg-positive in the immune tolerance period, age less than 40 years, HBVDNA usually greater than 100,000,000 IU/mL, HBeAg-negative, HBVDNA less than 10,000 IU/mL continuous observation for 1 year without activity.  Third, patients who have not determined whether to treat or wait: 1, those who are immune tolerant and older than 40 years old. 2, HBeAg positive and negative patients with mildly elevated ALT. 3, ALT normal, HBVDNA less than 10,000 IU compensated cirrhosis. 4, HBsAg negative but HBcAb positive patients who need to start immunotherapy.
