The best recovery method for scleroderma does not exist at present, and patients’ related symptoms can be relieved through general treatment, medication and surgery. 1. General treatment: quit smoking, keep warm, avoid emotional excitement, active skin care. 2. Drug therapy: Currently, the drug therapy of this disease mainly includes anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory therapy, treatment for vascular lesions and anti-fibrosis therapy. (1) Anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory therapy: glucocorticosteroids such as methylprednisolone can improve early arthralgia, myalgia, skin edema and sclerosis; immunosuppressants such as cyclosporine are used to inhibit immune response; non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as loxoprofen sodium tablets are generally effective for arthralgia and myalgia. (2) Treatment for vascular lesions: Calcium antagonists such as nifedipine are used to dilate blood vessels and improve local blood supply; endothelin receptor antagonists such as amlisentan are used to reduce pulmonary arterial hypertension and systemic vascular resistance, and are suitable for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension; prostate analogs such as iloprost are used to dilate small blood vessels and improve microcirculation. (3) Surgical treatment: Surgical debridement, suitable for patients with ulcers on the finger tips and associated infection, can remove decayed tissue and infection foci. If the diagnosis of scleroderma is confirmed, it is recommended to go to the rheumatology and immunology department of regular hospitals in time, and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment.
