Effectiveness of targeted drugs for advanced liver cancer

Taking targeted drugs in advanced stage of liver cancer has certain effect, but it is not a panacea. There is actually no good treatment for advanced liver cancer, but only palliative treatment to prolong survival time and improve survival quality. Targeted drugs are currently recommended due to their relatively small toxic side effects and certain therapeutic effects. The therapeutic effect of targeted drugs can basically extend the survival time of patients with advanced liver cancer by about one month, which is verified by evidence-based medical evidence. However, it can only extend the survival time by a month or so, and can relieve some of the symptoms of advanced liver cancer such as jaundice and poor blood clotting function, anorexia, etc. The treatment of advanced liver cancer also requires comprehensive treatment through corresponding nutritional support, liver protection and symptomatic treatment to prolong the survival time.
