CIN grade 2 is reviewed 3 months after performing conization surgery and whether cancer will occur is related to persistent HPV infection. Cervical CIN grade 2 represents high-grade intraepithelial lesions of the cervix, which are mostly treated by cervical circumferential electrosurgery. Patients need to be retested for TCT and HPV 3 months after surgery, and the time of re-examination or the need for further examination is determined according to the examination results. If the HPV turns negative after conization and there is no abnormality in regular reexamination, no cancer will occur. However, if the patient’s HPV continues not to turn negative, it may still cause CIN grade 2 again, which may then develop into cervical cancer. In addition, after CIN grade 2 conization, patients should pay attention to maintain a happy mood, avoid excessive mental stress, have regular review, and are recommended to have sex under the protection of safety measures.
