For some biliary obstruction diseases that cannot be treated surgically, various means are often used to drain the bile duct; PTCD is often used to drain the external bile duct, but its shortcomings are that a large amount of bile is lost, which can affect the stability of the patient’s internal environment and the patient’s digestive function; moreover, living with a tube for a long time brings inconvenience to the patient’s life. The success rate of ERCP is low in patients who have had previous upper gastrointestinal reconstruction surgery. If the guidewire can pass through the biliary stenosis, the stenosis is dilated with a dilator under the guidance of the guidewire, and then a biliary stent is placed under the guidance of the guidewire, thus providing the purpose of internal biliary drainage. This method is less invasive and can be performed under local anesthesia with adequate drainage.
