What are the symptoms of cervical cancer?

About 40% of patients with cervical pain do not have any symptoms, and the cancerous tissues often develop to a certain extent before symptoms appear. The remaining clinical manifestations vary according to the degree of cancer invasion. The following four symptoms are common: 1. Of course, increased leucorrhea is not a symptom unique to cervical cancer, and 99.35% of married women with increased leucorrhea are not cervical cancer. The increased leucorrhea of cervical cancer occurs due to the hyper-secretion of cervical glands by the presence of cancer. With the development of cancer, cloudy, rice water-like or purulent plasma with blood can be seen to be secreted from the vagina, which has special odor or even bad smell. This is a symptom caused by the necrosis and shedding of cancerous tissue and secondary infection. Some patients may have vulvovaginitis secondary to this. Irregular vaginal bleeding accounts for 81.4% of patients with cervical cancer. Some of them bleed after physical activity or gynecological examination, and menstruation is also irregular. In the initial stage, the bleeding is small and can often stop on its own. In the advanced stage, cancer invades large blood vessels, or due to the rich blood vessels of cancer itself, massive bleeding may occur. Long-term chronic bleeding or acute bleeding may cause patients to have anemia symptoms. Therefore, women with vaginal bleeding for many years after menopause should be alerted. 3.Pain is one of the common symptoms of cervical cancer in late stage. If the cancer presses the nerves in the pelvic cavity, pain in the lower abdomen, lower back or thighs will appear; if the cancer invades the rectum, it can also appear poor bowel movement and anal distension; if it presses the bladder, frequent, urgent, painful urination and hematuria will appear. 4.Metastasis symptoms of cervical cancer, generally speaking, the later the lesion is, the more and faster it metastasizes, but it is not rare to have metastasis in early lesion. In addition to lymphatic system, lung metastasis, bone metastasis and liver metastasis are more common in metastasis of cervical cancer. At this time, anemia, emaciation, fever or uremia may occur.
