Fever in bone marrow diseases is usually related to purulent inflammation and abnormal hematopoiesis. Common diseases that can cause fever include pyogenic osteomyelitis and myelodysplastic syndrome.
1. Purulent osteomyelitis: It is a purulent infection of bone, mostly caused by Aureus infection, which can reach the bone marrow and cause fever. This disease occurs in children and adolescents in the epiphysis of long bones, commonly in the femur and tibia. Acute onset of generalized malaise, chills, followed by an increase in body temperature up to 39 ~ 40 ℃. Localized redness, swelling, heat, pain and dysfunction of the affected limbs.
2. Myelodysplastic syndrome: the bone marrow is sickly hematopoietic, and there are many young blood cells and few mature blood cells in the bone marrow, which can easily lead to infection and fever.
If the patient has fever, he should go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying his condition.
