Daphne, also known as diclofenac sodium double-release enteric capsules, can be used for anti-inflammatory and pain relief treatment during acute attacks of gout. Its use is one capsule once a day, or twice a day if the patient has more pronounced joint swelling and pain. The drug should be taken on an empty stomach, or with a meal if the patient is prone to gastrointestinal adverse reactions. The most common adverse reactions to the drug are gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, etc. After the acute attack of gout, the symptoms of swollen and painful joints have basically disappeared, it is not appropriate to apply Daphne treatment at this stage. The main treatment in this period should be uric acid lowering treatment, and the commonly used drugs are benzbromarone, allopurinol and febuxostat.
