Are acne nodules serious?

Acne has various clinical manifestations of skin damage, the more common of which are inflammatory papules, as well as localized herpes, nodules, cysts, and scarring. Acne nodules are one of these skin lesions, and there is no definition of seriousness from acne nodules alone. In most patients, acne nodules will appear in varying degrees as their condition develops and changes. In some cases, when inflammation is not well controlled, larger, harder nodules appear locally, but as inflammation is controlled, acne nodules can become softer and then gradually fade away. However, there are indeed acne patients who have more severe acne, so they will have acne nodules on all parts of their face, and they will not be able to subside for a long time. In fact, in terms of the overall health of the patient, acne nodules do not lead to a shorter life expectancy, but they can seriously affect the patient’s appearance.
