Pregnancy precautions for people with hepatitis B virus

Women with HBsAg carriers can be normal and consider childbirth, prior to medical counseling to assess the physical condition of the HBsAg carrier on the one hand, and to understand the possible effects on the newborn. Regardless of whether the mother or father carries HBsAg, their newborns must be promptly vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours of birth and complete the full immunization according to the 0, 1, 6 protocol. For newborns of mothers with dual positive HBsAg and HBeAg, it is advisable to add hepatitis B high-valent immune globulin within 24 hours of birth (since HBIG production is currently suspended, such newborns should be given a high dose of hepatitis B vaccine, i.e., 10ug per dose of recombinant yeast hepatitis B vaccine or 30ug per dose of blood-derived vaccine).
