Recently, a 39-year-old female patient with gallbladder stones (filled type) strongly requested for laparoscopic biliary stone extraction, and we fulfilled her wish by performing laparoscopic biliary stone extraction. The operation went smoothly and the patient recovered well after the operation and was discharged from the hospital 2 days after the operation. Although the surgery was successful in this case, as a doctor, we recommend laparoscopic cholecystectomy for this type of patient because gallbladder stones may recur after biliary surgery for this type of filled gallbladder stones.
