The average life expectancy of squamous cervical cancer is several years.

Squamous cervical cancer is the most common type of cervical cancer, and the survival time of patients should depend on the specific situation, mainly on the stage of cervical cancer. If the stage of cervical squamous carcinoma is limited to stage I of the cervix, if the patient is actively treated and cooperates with the surgeon to remove the cancerous lesions at the same time, and insists on adjuvant treatment such as radiotherapy after surgery, the survival time of such patients can be decades, or even the same as normal people. If the stage of squamous cervical cancer is above stage II, it means that the cancer cells have metastasized, and the life expectancy of the patients is lower, generally the survival time is about 2-5 years, and the survival time of patients with poor health is usually less than 1 year. In addition, it is recommended that women of age should receive HPV vaccination and undergo regular gynecological examinations for early detection of cervical lesions so as not to miss the best time for treatment.
