Normal cells of the cervix include squamous epithelial cells, columnar epithelial cells, and non-epithelial components include phagocytes, leukocytes, lymphocytes, red blood cells, etc. The presence of squamous cells in cervical examination may have the following two conditions: 1. Normal condition: if it is normal squamous epithelial cells, located on the outside of the cervix, it is a normal reaction, pay attention to local hygiene and regular physical examination can be done; 2. Abnormal condition: if it is non- typical squamous epithelial cells, it means that the patient’s cervical area is abnormal and may be infected with HPV virus, or it may be a precancerous lesion of cervical cancer. In this case, further examination is recommended to clarify the specific nature. If it is determined to be a precancerous lesion, active treatment is needed and the uterus should be removed if necessary. After having sex, women should pay attention to gynecological examination, regular annual physical examination and cervical cancer screening, and can be vaccinated against HPV infection to prevent cervical cancer. At the same time, they should pay attention to keeping their mood relaxed and exercising properly to improve their body immunity and prevent diseases.
