How to do cervical screening tct and hpv test

Cervical TCT is a screening test for cervical cytology and HPV test is a test for HPV virus, both of which are done to rule out cervical lesions. The test is performed by taking cytology from the surface of the woman’s cervix and the outer part of the cervical canal. The first step of cervical TCT for women is to expose the cervix with a dilator and then brush around the cervix 3-5 times with a special sampling brush, and then place the brush along with the sample cup for cervical cell collection. After the second step is filled, it is sent to the laboratory or pathology examination room and it is ready. The first step is the same as the cervical TCT. The sample is taken by brushing around the cervix in three to five circles with an umbrella-shaped sampling brush, and then using the cell preservation solution to separate the impurities in the collected sample. Both tests can be performed at the same time, but it is important to avoid menstruation, sexual intercourse for three days prior to the test, and vaginal medication to avoid affecting the test results. Because the sample brush is used to brush the area around the cervix, there may be a little discomfort and a small amount of vaginal bleeding after these two tests, which are normal.
