Can stage II syphilis be cured?

Stage II syphilis is curable, except for stage III syphilis, which is also known as advanced syphilis. Stage II syphilis occurs after having systemic symptoms, usually after the hard chancre subsides, separated by a period of asymptomatic syphilis, which can spread with the circulation of blood and cause multi-site damage and diverse lesions, invading the skin, mucous membranes, and bones. The treatment period of syphilis is relatively long, starting from receiving treatment, and usually requires observation for 2-3 years. Serological examination is required every three months in the first year after regular treatment, and usually every six months in the second and third years. If the results of 3-4 consecutive tests are normal during the review process, syphilis is considered cured at this time.
