If the pain is in the crotch bone against the inside, in the lower abdomen, it may also be associated with ectopic pregnancy, adnexal disease, as the ovaries and fallopian tubes are roughly in this area, and with the body’s insensitivity to internal pain and inaccurate localisation, it may be considered as crotch pain, and the patient may also have menstrual disturbances or menopause. However, it is important to note that women with soreness in the crotch area should still first consider whether there is a local soft tissue or hip lesion, and it is advisable to consult an orthopaedic surgeon first.
