METHODS: 146 patients with severe mental disorders combined with chronic hepatitis C were randomly divided into two groups, the experimental group carried out routine care and health education; the control group carried out routine care. RESULTS: The experimental group showed improvement in lifestyle, dietary habits, exercise and rest, knowledge of adverse drug reactions, and patient self-care compared with the control group (P<0,05, P<0,01). CONCLUSION: Health education can improve the lifestyle of patients with severe mental disorders combined with chronic hepatitis C, improve the quality of life, and promote the recovery of patients. 1, Methods The control group used routine care methods, mainly (1) individual guidance for patients within 1 week of admission; (2) collective explanation of disease-related knowledge during hospitalization, twice a week, 40min/time; (3) distribution of homemade knowledge brochures about hepatitis C when discharged from the hospital; (4) regular monthly telephone follow-ups for patients after discharge, counseling and so on. The experimental group carried out health education on the basis of routine care in the control group, and the specific measures were as follows.2. Psychological guidance: (1) Introducing the knowledge of the disease, so that the patient has a full understanding of the disease, in order to obtain the patient's initiative to cooperate with the patient, to lift the patient's unnecessary concerns, and to treat the disease correctly. (2) Closely observe the patient's psychological changes, give comfort in spirit, respect the patient in words and deeds, emphasize the great relationship between psychological factors and disease recovery, and emphasize that although chronic hepatitis C is a chronic infectious disease, it can be controlled by early treatment. Correctly face the pressure from all aspects of society and family, and face life optimistically. ①Dietary guidance: patients with hepatitis C should not eat too much sugar and high-calorie food, high sugar, high-calorie diet causes overnutrition, prompting the body to increase lipids and prone to hyperlipidemia and fatty liver, thus aggravating the hepatitis lesions, patients with hepatitis C should be guaranteed adequate vitamins A and B, should be a high-protein diet, do not eat deep-fried and hard-to-digest food, canned food, salted food, and abstain from smoking and alcohol. Regular visits to overcome bad eating habits. ② Rest and exercise guidance: let the patient combine exercise and rest, in the active stage of chronic hepatitis C, should be more bed rest, in order to increase the blood flow of the liver, reduce the liver load, and promote the recovery of hepatocytes, into the recovery period, you can appropriately increase the amount of activity, in order not to feel fatigue is appropriate. ③ Patient's self-care: provide hygiene instruction to patients, explain the importance of disinfection and isolation, correctly master self-care methods, and avoid sharing toothbrush, tooth cup, razor, etc. with family members and patients in daily life. Avoid contact with blood and body fluids. Knowledge guidance of medication: viral hepatitis is not yet effective treatment drugs, due to economic interests, some advertisements on the drugs there are arbitrary exaggerated efficacy of the situation, too much medication not only can not promote the efficacy of the drug, but also exacerbate liver damage, in the hepatitis C regular use of medication at the same time, some medications, such as: sulfonamides, hormones, etc. are prohibited, otherwise aggravate liver damage, the side effects of some medications should be made to make the patient understand. (3) Statistical processing: the use of spss12,0 statistical software to process data, with P<0,05 for the difference is statistically significant, with P<0,01 for the difference is very significant. 2, results Compared with the two groups, through health education, patients in the experimental group improved in both lifestyle, dietary habits, rest and exercise knowledge of medication, self-care ability and other aspects (P<0, 05P<0, 01) The difference is statistically significant. 3, Discussion Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a class of viruses that are mainly transmitted by blood-borne transmission, humans are generally susceptible to HCV, and if left untreated, it is easy to develop chronic hepatitis C. The hepatitis C virus directly destroys the body's ability to heal. Since hepatitis C virus directly destroys liver cells, especially in patients with existing liver cirrhosis, the risk of developing cancer increases. In addition to fear and anxiety, patients know very little about the health knowledge of this disease. Strengthening the health education of hepatitis C patients is extremely important for the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C. Health education is of great significance to the recovery of patients with chronic hepatitis C combined with severe mental disorders. Appropriate diet is closely related to hepatitis C. Suitable exercise and rest promote the recovery of liver cells and enhance the recovery of the organism, good psychological guidance relieves patients' anxiety and depression and establishes confidence in overcoming the disease; voluntary adoption of educational activities and processes conducive to healthy behaviors and lifestyles. By comparing the experimental group with the control group, the experimental group had great improvement in both lifestyle, dietary habits, knowledge of medication and self-care ability, all of which were statistically significant.
