How old do boys start to have sexual reactions

The age at which sexual awareness begins in boys cannot be generalized, but is related to genetics, development, and individual physique. Generally children’s sexual awareness begins at puberty, and the age at which puberty begins depends mainly on how early the hypothalamic-gonadal axis function starts. Usually, puberty in boys is about 2 years later than in girls, usually around the age of 12-14, and will be manifested by low voice, beard growth, armpit hair growth, testicular enlargement, penis growth and thickening, and the appearance of pubic hair. Therefore, the sexual awareness of boys starts to develop from the age of 12-14, and the exact time varies from person to person. If the child develops faster or has precocious puberty, the time of sexual awareness may be earlier. During the developmental stage of sexual awareness, attention should be paid to help children establish the correct concept of sexuality. You should also strengthen the nutrition in the diet, three meals a day should be regular, and encourage children to do more physical exercise, such as running, doing push-ups, etc., to help the growth and development.
