Clinical data show that hepatitis B antibodies can be maintained for about 10 years. Hepatitis B antibodies are mainly protective antibodies produced by the body after being stimulated by the hepatitis B virus antigen. Hepatitis B vaccine is one of the vaccines designated as free for infants and children in China, and it is mainly given in the form of 0, 1, 6 injections, i.e. the first dose is given at birth, the second dose is repeated after 1 month, and another dose is given at 6 months. After that, the vaccine stimulates the body to produce antibodies to the hepatitis B virus, which can be maintained for about 10 years, at which time the antibody titers can be retested by three hepatitis B tests. If the antibody titer is less than 10, the body’s self-protection ability is weak and the vaccine can be given again. If the antibody titer is still greater than 10, it indicates that the body has self-immune protection mechanism and will not be infected. In addition, patients should try to share meals or use public chopsticks to reduce the number of public meals with strangers.
