Medical knowledge: menstrual pain, not tolerate it can be

Dysmenorrhea occurs with menstruation and can be accompanied by nausea and vomiting, cold sweats, cold hands and feet, and even fainting, which can affect work and life. Most women lack scientific understanding of dysmenorrhea The incidence of dysmenorrhea at home and abroad is on the rise every year, and severe dysmenorrhea affects women’s quality of life and normal activities, but few women seek medical help, and most of them choose to endure it. This is actually due to the lack of scientific understanding of menstrual pain among women, who believe that menstrual pain can be endured and passed. In fact, this idea is very incorrect. The primary dysmenorrhea is divided into primary and secondary: ① primary dysmenorrhea refers to the reproductive organs without obvious lesions, so also known as functional dysmenorrhea, mostly seen in adolescent girls, unmarried and married without children, this dysmenorrhea in normal delivery pain can be relieved or disappear; ② secondary dysmenorrhea is mostly due to organic lesions in the reproductive organs. If the primary dysmenorrhea is severe without the necessary treatment, it will largely affect the patient’s work and life; while secondary dysmenorrhea caused by endometriosis, adenomyosis, etc., if not treated in a timely manner, may lead to serious consequences such as serious pelvic infection and infertility. Therefore, once you have persistent dysmenorrhea, you must go to the hospital for examination and not take it lightly. You don’t need to treat menstrual cramps, they will heal themselves after having children? We often hear old people say, “It’s okay to have menstrual cramps, it will be fine after you get married and have children.” In fact, this statement is not entirely true and may cause some unnecessary consequences. The kind of dysmenorrhea that the old people say will heal itself after marriage and childbirth is only part of primary dysmenorrhea. For example, some women have dysmenorrhea due to the narrowing of the cervix, so that the menstrual blood does not flow smoothly, after childbirth, the cervix relaxes the blood will be easy to discharge, the phenomenon of dysmenorrhea will disappear, the so-called “pain is not pass, pass is not pain” is the truth. However, if the dysmenorrhea is secondary, it usually occurs after marriage, and there is an obvious organic lesion. If the primary disease is not treated, the dysmenorrhea will not only not improve, but will gradually worsen, and even cause serious complications. Do you take your own painkillers for menstrual pain? Many women with menstrual cramps take painkillers without asking for the reason in order to relieve the troubles caused by menstrual cramps. In fact, whether it is primary or secondary dysmenorrhea, medication should be used under the guidance of a doctor. Especially for secondary dysmenorrhea, if the medication is not appropriate, it may cause great harm. The reason is that even if the dysmenorrhea is caused by the same reproductive organ disease, there are different causes and there may be a great difference in the type and dosage of medication, which cannot be generalized. Acupuncture and massage to drive away pain? Acupuncture and massage have been considered good treatments for dysmenorrhea because they can relieve uterine spasms and pelvic blood stasis through stimulation of certain acupoints and meridian conduction, and provide pain relief. However, many medical practices show that it is not advisable to take too strong massage during this special period of menstruation, otherwise it may easily induce endometrial shedding and aggravate bleeding. Therefore, not everyone is suitable for massage therapy.
