Dysmenorrhea always brings a lot of troubles to women, and in serious cases, it can directly affect normal work and life, and has a close relationship with infertility. It is clinically observed that more than half of the infertile patients have mild or severe dysmenorrhea, therefore, active treatment is important. For patients with mild symptoms, the pain can be relieved by taking medication or physical therapy; for stubborn dysmenorrhea, treatment by taking medication or physical therapy is not enough. For this reason, we use a new minimally invasive interventional treatment technique to block the sympathetic ganglion in the lumbosacral area, improve pelvic microcirculation, eliminate blood stasis, block the vicious cycle of pain, and inhibit nociceptive conduction to achieve a more lasting therapeutic effect. The successful implementation of this treatment has brought a boon to patients who have been suffering from dysmenorrhea for a long time. Since the procedure is performed under the guidance of CT image positioning, it is safe, has few side effects, and is accurate, inexpensive, simple, and safe, making it an effective treatment for patients with dysmenorrhea.
