With the improvement of people’s living standard and the strong awareness of health care, health checkups are getting more and more attention. Gallbladder stones and gallbladder polyps are often found in medical checkups. Those who are found to have these diseases are often very nervous, especially gallbladder polyps are more likely to make patients think of gallbladder cancer, so they are very afraid. In the following sections, I will briefly talk about the basic knowledge of gallbladder stones, gallbladder polyps and gallbladder cancer and the interrelationship and influence of the three. Gallbladder stones: The gallbladder itself does not secrete bile but is produced by the liver and flows into the gallbladder through the bile ducts. Thus, we can understand that the gallbladder is a cystic organ that stores and concentrates bile. The organic components in bile include cholesterol, bile pigments, bile acid salts, phospholipids, etc., just as solutes such as sugar and salt dissolve in water. When the concentration of solute is too high by evaporation of water, crystals of sugar and salt will be precipitated. Then when the water in the bile is absorbed by the gallbladder and the bile becomes too thick, the cholesterol in the bile will precipitate out and crystallize to form gallstones. The formation of limescale is related to the impurities contained in the water, the time of boiling, and the number of times the water is boiled. Therefore, the formation of gallstones is related to the patient’s personal constitution, dietary habits, eating ingredients and other factors that lead to the imbalance of the ratio of various organic components in the bile. The consumption of fatty and meaty food is likely to produce gallbladder stones, and obese people have more gallbladder stones, but not all obese people have gallstones; there are people who have stones and people who do not have stones in the same food. Therefore, there is no clear prescription for the prevention of stones for a particular individual.
