Advantages and disadvantages of nucleoside (acid) analogues

  Advantages of nucleoside (acid) analogues: 1, oral administration; 2, strong viral inhibitory effect; 3, few and mild adverse effects; 4, can be used in patients with liver failure.  Disadvantages of nucleoside (acid) analogues: 1, relatively irregular course of treatment; 2, low HBsAg seroconversion rate; 3, the efficacy is not long-lasting; 4, long-term use may produce drug-resistant mutations; 5, the disease may deteriorate after discontinuation of the drug.
