Regular follow-up after syphilis treatment is mandatory

Patient: Professor Pang, I have now undergone my second RPR test after stopping the drug. I showed you the results of the first one. The first one was weakly positive, and the second follow-up result was the same, not your clinic, so I didn’t look at it. I would like to ask if I should still wait for three months for the next retest? Or is there any change.

After treatment, you should follow up regularly with physical examination and serological examination to examine the efficacy of treatment. Generally adhere to at least 3 years, review every 3 months in the first year, every 6 months in the second year, and at the end of the year in the third year.
