What are the causes of headaches in adolescent girls?

Adolescent girls are less likely to seek medical attention for headaches: recently, headaches are frequent, and a significant proportion of them occur around the time of menstruation. According to clinical observation, there is a relationship between headache and menstruation. Headaches in adolescent girls are related to estrogen in the body on the one hand, and to many factors such as individual differences, family genetics, living habits, and living environment and climate on the other hand. Such as mental tension, anxiety about menstruation and emotional instability. According to clinical observation, with the appearance of normal menstrual cycle and ageing, the degree and intensity of headache are significantly improved. According to statistics, 80% of female patients do not have headache during pregnancy. In addition to menstruation, there are more psychogenic headaches in adolescent girls, such as headaches caused by neurasthenia and hysterical headaches. This is related to the unique psychological quality, physiological quality and environment of adolescent girls. Because girls are in the unstable period of character, various kinds of bad mental stimulation, psychological depression, mental tension or fatigue can induce headache.
