Paraquat poisoning is a toxic disease that seriously affects people’s health in China, and there is no special antidote yet, and it has a high death rate. In recent years, some progress has been made in the basic and clinical research on paraquat poisoning at home and abroad, but there is still no breakthrough in the treatment of moderate and severe paraquat poisoning. On the basis of the Qilu Scheme, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University has studied the latest clinical evidence, consulted widely with domestic famous experts, and proposed the “Taishan Expert Consensus” on the diagnosis and treatment of paraquat poisoning (referred to as “Taishan Consensus”) with reference to the chapters of “Emergency Medicine” and “Preventive Medicine” in the national unified textbook prepared by the expert group of this topic. “From November 1 to 3, 2013, the Third National Academic Conference on Paraquat Poisoning was held in Jinan, Shandong Province, and the draft of “Taishan Expert Consensus” on the diagnosis and treatment of paraquat poisoning was adopted by the conference after revision.
