After more than ten years of exploration, the Department of Poisoning and Occupational Diseases of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, on the basis of treating a large number of cases of paraquat poisoning, reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad, established a paraquat poisoning treatment research group, actively carried out clinical and basic research on paraquat poisoning, and put forward the “Qilu Scheme” for paraquat poisoning treatment. Scheme” (Qilu Scheme). In the past three years, we have treated 983 patients, cured 649 cases clinically, with a cure rate of 66%, and tested more than 3,000 specimens of blood and urine toxins. Patients come from all provinces and cities in China except Taiwan, and the number of cases treated, the number of cured cases and the clinical cure rate are among the leading in China. The group has published 38 research papers on paraquat poisoning, including 4 SCI-indexed papers, edited 2 books, undertaken 5 scientific research projects on paraquat poisoning, of which 1 was identified as international leading level and 2 were identified as international advanced level, and won 6 scientific research awards at provincial, ministerial and departmental levels.
