Can I keep my gallbladder if I have gallbladder stones?

  The traditional treatment for gallbladder stones is cholecystectomy. Cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones has a history of more than 100 years and has been proven to be safe and effective.  In the past two decades, scholars in China have proposed cholecystectomy for the treatment of gallstone disease, while a series of studies have been conducted. After the efforts of the majority of biliary surgeons to explore, it is now believed that cholecystectomy is theoretically reasonable, technically safe and feasible, and effective in the treatment of gallbladder stones, partially meeting the standard of endoscopic minimally invasive surgical treatment that preserves human organs and functions and improves the quality of life of patients.
