What are the contraindications of gallstone removal surgery

  Indications for gallbladder stone extraction: 1, symptomatic gallbladder stones; 2, gallbladder stones larger than 10mm or multiple gallbladder stones; 3, gallbladder stones discharged into the common bile duct causing infection of the common bile duct and biliary pancreatitis; 4, solitary gallbladder stones less than 10mm without clinical symptoms, should be regularly observed, every 3 months to review the ultrasound, if the stones increase, surgery should be performed. Understanding the indications for bile stone extraction, we can arrange the surgery in a more reasonable way to completely remove the stone disease.  Contraindications for gallstone extraction: 1. gallbladder atrophy; 2. gallbladder cancer; 3. intrahepatic gallbladder; 4. Mirizz syndrome; 5. preoperative examination confirmed complete loss of gallbladder function; 6. poor physical condition, preoperative assessment can not tolerate surgery.  It can be seen that if patients have the above mentioned contraindications for gallstone extraction, they should have their gallbladder removed and return to good health.
