Typical case 1: The patient was a 50-year-old male with recurrent right upper abdominal pain for 2 years, and a mass in the right inguinal region was found for 4 months. Laparoscopic total extraperitoneal patch implantation (TEP) inguinal hernia repair combined with laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) was performed under general anesthesia on March 28, 2008. The inguinal hernia was repaired by creating a space outside the peritoneum, and then the gallbladder was removed by placing a puncture hole in the umbilicus as an observation hole.
