Whether a patient with hemolysis can be cured or not is determined by the cause of its production, some can be cured, while hemolysis caused by congenital hereditary diseases such as thalassemia may not be cured. However, it is possible to control its symptoms according to some methods, such as the use of drugs that alkalize the urine and hormones that can improve the patient’s anemia symptoms. If the patient’s anemia symptoms are more severe, resulting in poor mental status or have affected the growth and development of children, and blood tests reveal low hemoglobin, the patient can be treated by blood transfusion.
