Does hemolysis affect the child when he grows up?

Hemolytic anemia in newborns is mainly due to the incompatibility between the child’s blood type and the mother’s blood type. After birth, the child has its own independent blood system, and the previous blood in the mother’s body is metabolized out from the child’s body and becomes all its own blood generally as normal children. However, if the hemolytic anemia is caused by 6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, exposure to substances that induce hemolytic anemia, such as fava beans, salicylic acid preparations, sulfone, etc., may result in an acute attack of hemolytic anemia.
