Do cysts in the head go away on their own?

Usually head cysts do not disappear on their own. Head cysts have an envelope, and the contents of the envelope are difficult to be absorbed and reduced by the surrounding tissue. There are many types of head cysts, and the symptoms caused by cysts are different depending on where they are located. Cysts without any clinical symptoms or with only mild symptoms such as slight headache, but not affecting daily life, can be treated without special treatment, and close follow-up and regular review of cyst size is sufficient. If the cyst further enlarges and other symptoms such as obvious headache and vertigo appear, causing obvious impact on daily life, active surgical treatment is recommended if conditions allow. There are more types of head cysts, and there are also minimally invasive surgery and craniotomy. Minimally invasive surgery has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery, shorter time and no craniotomy, so it is recommended to go to the neurosurgery department of regular hospital as soon as possible after finding head cysts, and the physician will make suitable treatment plan according to the type of cysts.
