How long does it take for transaminase 70 to go down to 40

Aminotransferases of 70 U/L are usually transiently elevated and can be reduced to normal within 1-2 weeks after removal of the cause. The standard for aminotransferase testing is 40 U/L. When aminotransferase is 70 U/L, it means that aminotransferase has exceeded the normal value by more than one time. Generally speaking, it is within two times of the normal value and is usually a transient elevation, which may be related to the patient’s poor living habits. For example, drinking alcohol, staying up late, overworking, etc. can cause an increase in aminotransferases in patients. If the transaminases are transiently elevated due to the above reasons, they can be brought down to normal by quitting alcohol, regular rest and rest, and proper stress reduction, usually without medication. In addition, elevated aminotransferases may also be caused by drug factors, such as anti-tuberculosis drugs, which can be restored to normal after stopping the drugs, but the time required may be relatively longer.
