What are the symptoms of chronic headache?

  Primary headaches include migraine, tension headache and cluster headache, while secondary headaches include traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, encephalitis, stroke and peripheral brain organ lesions.  Primary headaches are those headaches that have been around for a long time, with good and bad times, and no organic changes in the imaging tests.  Migraine is one of the types of vascular headache. It is an episodic headache caused by cranial vasodilatation dysfunction. Clinically, it is characterized by paroxysmal severe headache on one side, and migraine is a common disease. The occurrence of this disease is associated with mental tension, overexertion, poor sleep, bright light stimulation, alcohol consumption and the application of vasodilators, which are all triggers for migraine attacks.  Symptoms of migraine include: 1. Blurred vision, photophobia, flashes of light or sparks in front of the eyes, eye swelling, migraines and other aura symptoms before the headache, lasting from a few minutes to about half an hour.  2. Recurrent headaches on one or both sides, mainly in the frontotemporal region, may extend to full headache. It is throbbing pain, dull pain or present stabbing pain.  3.Companied by nausea and vomiting, often photophobia and closed eyes with tears, preferring to lie still in a dark room. Some patients have flushed face, sweating, and increased or decreased blood pressure.  4. One attack lasts from several hours to several days. Seizures may occur once a day or several days.  5.The use of ergotamine caffeine can relieve the symptoms during the aura of seizure.  6. Everything is normal during the interictal period. No positive signs on neurological examination during the seizure period.
