Sertraline hydrochloride tablets are antidepressants of the 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitor class and can be used to treat symptoms associated with depression, including depression with anxiety, with or without a history of mania, in addition to sertraline hydrochloride tablets for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder. The drug, which has a white film coating as well as a white core, is a prescription drug and should be taken under professional medical supervision. The side effects of sertraline hydrochloride tablets are relatively small, the safety is good, the interaction with other drugs is relatively small, but generally the efficacy period is long. Patients can continue to take the drug after it has had a significant effect to prevent the reoccurrence of depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. After taking sertraline hydrochloride tablets, patients may experience certain adverse reactions, including indigestion, nausea, anorexia, insomnia, excessive sweating, palpitations, menstrual irregularities, edema and other symptoms.
