Several ways to promote full recovery in depressed patients

1, timely identification of typical depression manifestations (such as loss of energy, fatigue; sleep disorders; recurrent thoughts of death; reduced ability to think for oneself, etc.), early medical consultation. 2.Give early help to the patient, talk to him/her more often, don’t let him/her suffer in silence. 3.Help the patient to identify the themes of depression (e.g., approval seeking, shame, unhappy relationships, unrealistic ideals, perfectionism) and help the patient to overcome the difficulties after finding them. 4.Advise the patient to participate in more useful activities. 5.Patients can be asked to try to divide big things into small pieces and do one thing at a time. 6.For the upcoming task you can discuss with the patient the possible setbacks and failures you may face, and make adequate psychological preparation in advance.
