What are the causes of acne?

In recent days, we have come across many friends who are inquiring about acne, and almost everyone knows its name. It is also known as acne and acne vulgaris. A small pimple brings a lot of distress. It is notorious for making people who are in close contact with it very disgusted! So what is the cause of so many “pimples”? The actual “pimple” is a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the sebaceous gland units, mainly in adolescents, and has a great psychological and social impact on adolescents, but it can often be naturally reduced or healed after puberty. It generally occurs in the face acne, papules, pustules, nodules and other polymorphic lesions as a feature. The occurrence of “pimples” is closely related to excessive sebum secretion, blockage of hair follicle sebaceous ducts, bacterial infection and inflammatory reaction. 2.
The level of androgens in the body, especially testosterone, rises rapidly after puberty, promoting the development of sebaceous glands and producing large amounts of sebum. At the same time, the follicle sebaceous gland ducts are abnormally keratinized, resulting in blockage of the ducts and obstruction of sebum discharge, forming keratin plugs, or microcomedones. The lipase produced by Propionibacterium acnes breaks down sebum to produce free fatty acids, which also chemotactic inflammatory cells and mediators, eventually inducing and aggravating inflammatory reactions.
