What is the pathological process of cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer develops gradually from squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix, so its pathological process is from low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix to high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions of the cervix, which will further become cancerous. In general, the nucleus of the lower 1/3 layer of the epithelium will gradually increase in size, the nucleoplasmic ratio will gradually increase, the nuclear staining will gradually deepen, the nuclear schizophrenia will gradually increase, and the cell polarity will gradually change. When it becomes high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion, the nucleus of subepithelial layer 1/3-2/3 will gradually increase, and then the nucleoplasmic ratio will increase, the nuclear staining will gradually increase, and the interstitial layer will gradually invade to form cervical cancer.
