What’s wrong with throwing up from a headache?

There are two possibilities for headache with vomiting: 1. There are serious organic diseases in the brain, such as massive cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, brain tumor or central nervous system infection. All these diseases can cause increased intracranial pressure, which manifests as headache with nausea and vomiting, and positive meningeal irritation signs on physical examination. Vomiting is caused by cranial hypertension and is often jet vomiting. Improving cranial CT, magnetic resonance and lumbar puncture can help clarify the diagnosis. 2. Migraine with nausea and vomiting. Migraine is a kind of functional headache, which belongs to vascular neurological headache. There is no organic lesion in the cranium, but it is caused by vasoconstriction and dilation dysfunction, abnormal secretion of neurotransmitters and other factors. The headache is often accompanied by autonomic dysfunction, causing abnormal smooth muscle movements in the gastrointestinal tract and discomfort such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension and abdominal pain.
