What is slow hepatitis B?

What is chronic hepatitis B virus infection? Hepatitis B virus infection is called chronic hepatitis B virus infection if it has been present for more than six months. In other words, if the surface antigen is positive for more than six months, it can be called chronic hepatitis B virus infection. Liver inflammation is reflected in abnormal liver function, including elevated transaminases and jaundice, and patients may have upper abdominal fullness and discomfort, nausea, aversion to oil, and other manifestations. In some patients, the liver function is always normal and there can be no symptoms, but when liver pathology is performed by liver puncture, inflammation or significant fibrosis is found in the liver, which is also a manifestation of liver inflammation. Therefore, for patients with normal liver function and high viral load, liver puncture should be performed to further clarify whether there is inflammation in the liver. Chronic hepatitis B, or chronic viral hepatitis B, has two meanings: first, chronic hepatitis B virus infection; second, inflammation of the liver.
