Because multiple myeloma is a malignant tumor of the plasma cell system, the normal hematopoietic function is destroyed due to the malignant transformation of plasma cells that proliferate disorderly in the bone marrow. At the same time, patients are often accompanied by specific pathological changes such as bone damage and kidney damage. At present, multiple myeloma is still an incurable tumor, and although the disease progresses slowly, patients often die due to renal impairment and bleeding and infection if complicated by kidney damage or co-infection.
