What are the symptoms of tuberculosis?

  Many people’s knowledge of tuberculosis is coughing, coughing up sputum and hemoptysis, but in fact, tuberculosis is much more than these simple symptoms.  1, fatigue, weakness: the patient’s general weakness, not doing physical work also feel tired.  2, low fever in the afternoon: fever, body temperature between 37.4 to 38 ℃, obvious in the afternoon. Cornular tuberculosis and caseous pneumonia often have moderate to high fever.  3. Night sweats: sweating profusely when waking up after going to sleep.  4. Cough and sputum: easily recurring and not improving for a longer period of time. Coughing white mucus sputum mostly, and pus sputum may appear when accompanied by other infections. In case of combined bronchial tuberculosis, the cough is irritating. When there is cavity formation, the sputum volume increases, and if combined with other bacterial infections, the sputum may be purulent.  5. Hemoptysis: blood in the sputum or fresh blood in the whole mouth may occur. There may be medium to large amount of hemoptysis.  6. Chest pain: Generally, the location of chest pain is fixed, and the chest pain is persistent. If the chest pain increases with deep breathing or coughing, it means that the pleura overlying the lung surface has been affected by tuberculosis. If the pain site is not fixed, wandering, pain is not related to breathing, coughing, most of the pain caused by nerve reflex.  7, chest tightness and shortness of breath: the lung tissue is widely and severely damaged, or there is extensive pleural adhesion, shortness of breath can occur, especially after physical activity aggravated.  8, Other: Patients may have loss of appetite, gradual loss of body weight, lesbians may have irregular menstruation or even amenorrhea, children may have personality changes, irritability and irritability.  The above symptoms are not present in every patient with tuberculosis. Generally, there are no symptoms in the early stage of the disease, or some patients have mild symptoms such as cough and weakness, which can be easily mistaken for a cold and ignored. As tuberculosis progresses, the symptoms become more pronounced or increase.
