What should I do if I accidentally fall and have sternal pressure pain?

There are many causes of sternal pressure pain. If a fall causes an external force to act on the sternum, it may cause pain in the sternum, and if the pain is not relieved, it may be a sternal fracture causing the phenomenon of sternal pressure pain. If the pain is not relieved, the sternal fracture may be the cause of the sternal pressure pain. In this case, the patient should go to the orthopaedic department of the hospital and undergo appropriate investigations, such as physical examination or imaging, in order to confirm the presence of a sternal fracture.
