A thyroid adenoma in the neck is not serious. Most patients with thyroid adenomas are benign, and small ones can continue to be observed. It is very common to see multiple thyroid nodules in the 40’s or 50’s, so there is no need to worry about them, just follow the above mentioned operating principles.
