Gynecological examination cleanliness

Gynecological examination cleanliness usually refers to the examination of vaginal cleanliness, that is, the use of microscope for wet film and staining smear examination of vaginal secretions to observe its cleanliness and the presence of special bacteria and cells, etc., to confirm the vaginal cleanliness and determine whether there is inflammation in the vagina. Vaginal cleanliness is divided into Ⅰ-Ⅳ degrees: 1. Ⅰ-Ⅱ degrees: cleanliness Ⅰ-Ⅱ degrees is normal, more vaginal bacilli and epithelial cells and less white blood cells can be found in the examination; 2. Ⅲ-Ⅳ degrees: cleanliness Ⅲ-Ⅳ degrees is abnormal, relatively less number of vaginal bacilli and white blood cells can be found in the examination or basically no vaginal bacilli can be seen, more white blood cells, pus cells, more trichomonas, fungus nematocysts, gatnerella and gram-negative bacilli. When vaginal cleanliness is abnormal, it is often seen in inflammatory vaginal conditions such as bacterial vaginitis, trichomoniasis, and mycotic vaginitis. Note vaginal cleanliness is positively correlated with HPV infection, the poorer the vaginal cleanliness, the higher the rate of HPV infection. This shows that a good vaginal environment is good for the body’s immune cells to recognize other pathogenic bacteria so that they can be removed, and it also prevents some pathogenic microorganisms from accumulating and multiplying and then having a protective effect on HPV virus.
