Diagnostic points: 1, dysarthria or complete loss of voice, swallowing difficulties, choking on water. 2. Dull expression, strong crying and laughing. 3. Left or lateral limb movement disorders may be present. 4. History of more than two stroke episodes, often on different sides. In the early stage of admission, the patient should be given nasal feeding if he/she is completely unable to eat, and acupuncture should be used except in special cases such as pneumonia, diabetes, heart attack, etc., where symptomatic treatment is appropriate. Objective of treatment: To awaken the brain and open the orifices. Main acupoints: Neiguan, Renzhong, Sanyinjiao. Secondary points: Fengchi, Wanbone, Cataract, Shanglianquan, Neidaying, Jinjin, Yuyu. Needle twice daily for 1.5 months. The treatment course is long and requires close cooperation between the doctor and patient.
