Acetaminophen tablets are an antipyretic and analgesic drug that is useful in the treatment of dysmenorrhea. The primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea are two types of dysmenorrhea, and acetaminophen tablets are generally better for primary dysmenorrhea. Secondary dysmenorrhea may be caused by organic lesions, such as endometriosis or adenomyosis. In this case, it is recommended to eliminate the primary lesion so that the dysmenorrhea can be relieved naturally. It is not necessary to take acetaminophen tablets all the time, because prolonged use of acetaminophen tablets may cause damage to liver and kidney function, or a decrease in white blood cells, among other adverse effects.
