Aminotransferases over 200 can usually come down in a few days

The first thing that needs to be clarified is whether the elevated transaminases are caused by drug-related factors or other pathological factors. If the aminotransferase is elevated due to drug-related factors, it can be normalized within 2-3 days after stopping the drug. If the aminotransferase is elevated due to other pathological factors, the cause should be identified and treated accordingly, and the length of time required during treatment varies from individual to individual, so no definite time frame can be given. The standard for aminotransferases is 40 U/L. When aminotransferases are 200 U/L, it means that the aminotransferases have exceeded the normal value by 5 times, and in general, exceeding the normal value by more than 2 times means that the liver has been damaged. The key to lowering transaminases is to analyze the cause of elevated transaminases and to treat the cause. If it is caused by fatty liver, the problem of fatty liver should be solved; if it is caused by virus, antiviral treatment and corresponding treatment to protect the liver and lower the enzyme should be given. In addition, for patients with high transaminases, you can promote liver function recovery by eating vitamin-rich vegetables and fruits, such as shiitake mushrooms and pears.
