How should CML patients choose hematopoietic stem cell transplantation?

Patients with chronic granulocytic leukemia (CML) who should be selected for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in the era of Gleevec (imatinib) are as follows: 1. Pediatric patients with chronic granulocytic leukemia, whether in the chronic phase, accelerated or acute phase, are preferred for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; 2. Patients with chronic granulocytic leukemia in the accelerated and acute phases, but patients in the accelerated phase should be cautious; 3. Patients with CML who are in the chronic phase but have mutations at the T315I locus should be selected first for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation; 4. Patients with CML who are intolerant or resistant to imatinib.
